Autism Funding Program (AFP)

The Autism Funding Program, administered by the Ministry of Children and Family Development in British Columbia,

offers crucial support for families with children on the autism spectrum.  

With dedicated funding streams for children under 6 years old and youth aged 6 to 18,

the program provides financial assistance to access intervention services, therapies,

and support networks tailored to the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

At Home Program

This program may provide funding for respite services, behavior interventionists,

and other supports that can help families care for their child with ASD at home.

Variety - The Children's Charity of BC

The Children's Charity is a prominent organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs and disabilities across British Columbia, Canada.

Jordan's Principle

Jordan's Principle ensures that every First Nations child residing in Canada has timely access to the necessary products, services, and supports they require.  

 

Funding provided under Jordan's Principle covers a broad spectrum of health, social, and educational needs,

including those unique to First Nations Two-Spirit and LGBTQQIA children and youth,

as well as individuals with disabilities.

Extended Health Plan

Families in British Columbia can also benefit from the Extended Health (EH) services

provided by various insurance providers.

This offering extends support beyond traditional grants, covering a range of healthcare needs for children.

CKNW's Kids' Fund

The CKNW Kids' Fund welcomes grant applications from families and organizations in BC focused on

children’s programs and special projects.
